I found this fascinating quote today:
Debates will allow an Indian voter to see the real point of view of each of the candidate and not just what their party is harping for. It will be very interesting for us to find out LK Advani’s view on Varun Gandhi’s ranting against muslims and similarly Manmohan Singh’s getting a heart operated up on after 26/11 crisis and will he be able to handle similar crisis in future.Time to bring on the political debates in Indian Elections., Mar 2009
